In response to the information reflecting that "A delegation of officials from a district in Dong Nai went to Ha Giang to study digital transformation but spent most of their time traveling ", the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province has just issued a document requesting departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts and cities not to organize delegations to visit and learn from experiences outside the province during the time of implementing the arrangement and reorganization of the 2-level government apparatus.
This directive was issued in the context that the locality is implementing the policy of rearranging and reorganizing the apparatus and administrative units at district and commune levels according to the Resolution of the Central Committee and the direction of the Government and the Provincial Party Committee. The provincial leader emphasized that this is a key and urgent task, requiring high concentration of the entire political system.
In this context, the Provincial People's Committee requests that delegations not be organized to visit and learn from experiences outside the province. In case of real necessity, the organization of delegations to visit and learn from experiences must have a report and proposal for the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to consider and decide.
Regarding a press agency reporting that a delegation of education officials from Vinh Cuu district planned to go to Ha Giang to study digital transformation models and STEM applications, but spent most of their time on sightseeing, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Chairman of Vinh Cuu district People's Committee to organize a review of experiences, clarify responsibilities and report results before May 25.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee also requested heads of departments, branches and localities to continue to set an example, strengthen inspection, tighten discipline and order among cadres, civil servants and public employees; strictly handle violations in accordance with regulations.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to monitor, advise, and propose disciplinary action against heads of agencies, units, and localities if violations occur during the process of implementing the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested agencies, units and localities to seriously disseminate and properly implement the directive spirit.
