TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 will take place on the Ho Hoan Kiem pedestrian street, Hanoi from December 12th to 14th, 2025.
According to Mr. Hoang Minh, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology , TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 is taking place at a particularly significant time as the country prepares to review and evaluate the results of a year of implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. In particular, innovative entrepreneurship is identified as an important component in the country's development orientation in the new era.
In 2025, the Government focused on building and perfecting institutions and policies in accordance with Resolution 57-NQ/TW. Many laws and legal documents were developed and promulgated in a very short time, such as: the Law on Science , Technology and Innovation; the Law on Digital Technology Industry; Decree No. 264/2025/ND-CP on the National Venture Capital Fund and local venture capital funds; Decree No. 268/2025/ND-CP on recognizing innovation centers, supporting innovative startups; recognizing individuals and businesses in innovative startups; infrastructure, network and ecosystem for innovative startups, aiming to create a more favorable legal framework for investment in innovative startups.
Along with that, the Government also directed the promotion of the spirit of innovative entrepreneurship with the overarching principle that: Innovative entrepreneurship is the cause of the entire people; entrepreneurship is based on technology, innovation, and digital transformation; entrepreneurship creates breakthroughs for economic growth and opens up a space for creative culture for all citizens; strongly inspire and widely spread the spirit of entrepreneurship, risk acceptance, tolerance of failure, and a culture of innovation throughout the entire population and society, considering this a central driving force for the rapid and sustainable development of the country to form a digital and science and technology nation.
With that spirit in mind, TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 is implemented in an open space model, creating conditions for people to directly access and experience new technology products and modern business models. This will strongly spread the spirit of innovative entrepreneurship, contributing to the process of building Vietnam into an innovative startup nation.
TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 is organized with many innovations aimed at enhancing openness, connectivity, and effectively impacting the innovation ecosystem.
This year, TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 focuses on affirming the role of state management through the announcement of new policies, updating ecosystem data, and strongly promoting public-private partnership models and investment markets for innovation.
A key highlight of TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 is the shift in organizational format from a "hall event" model to an "open-space event". Accordingly, TECHFEST 2025 will take place in the Ho Hoan Kiem pedestrian area (Hanoi), providing people with direct access to new technologies, innovative business models, and startup support services.
TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 also focuses on activities with high professional content such as policy announcements, investment deal networking, solutions to market challenges, and spreading the message about the "One-Person Enterprise" model. At the same time, TECHFEST 2025 will strengthen the presence of experts, speakers, investment funds, and global organizations in the series of thematic workshops, aiming for an open, modern, and integrated TECHFEST.

TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 is expected to attract more than 60,000 participants, both in person and online, from corporations, startups, investment funds, support organizations, technology incubators, research institutes, universities, as well as representatives from prominent businesses and corporations, scientists, women, youth, senior citizens starting businesses, and delegates from the domestic and international innovation and startup ecosystems, including: Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, North America, and Europe.
Along with the Opening Ceremony and the National Policy Forum, TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 will feature more than 10 international conferences, professional seminars, technology demonstrations and experiences, and over 20 events promoting investment connections and business cooperation between domestic and international partners.
Specifically, the National Policy Forum and International Cooperation on Venture Capital for Innovative Startups create a space for breakthrough policy dialogue at the national and local levels, promoting venture capital for innovative startups, economic growth, and attracting domestic and international investment. International experts' assessments of the public-private partnership model in venture capital for innovative startups address challenges in the dual transformation and smart cities, and offer recommendations for national and local policy development in guiding the venture capital market in Vietnam.
The final round of the 2025 National Innovation Startup Talent Search Competition aims to identify, support, and honor outstanding innovative startups by Vietnamese people both domestically and internationally, pioneering entities that apply science, technology, and innovation to solve business and societal challenges.
The 2025 finals bring together the top 10 best teams nationwide, selected from hundreds of applications through rigorous evaluation rounds and fierce competition. In this most important round, each team will deliver a groundbreaking and inspiring presentation, showcasing their vision, business model, and practical technological solutions.
