Nha Xa silk village integration and development

Nha Xa Silk Village (Moc Nam, Duy Tien, Ha Nam) is a traditional craft village with a history of over 700 years, famous for its soft, smooth and durable silk products. Through many ups and downs, Nha Xa Silk Village has constantly strived to integrate and develop, affirming its position in the domestic and foreign markets.

The silk weaving profession in Nha Xa is said to have been formed in the late 13th and early 14th centuries. Currently, Nha Xa silk village still maintains a vibrant production with nearly 400 weaving machines, producing about 30-40 thousand meters of silk per month. Nha Xa silk products are highly appreciated for their 100% silk quality, softness, good absorbency, non-irritating to the skin and long-lasting color.

Nha Xa silk not only serves the domestic market but is also exported to countries such as Japan and France, contributing to promoting the quintessence of Vietnamese silk to the world .
