
Accordingly, Mr. Pham Van Trong, a member of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Bach Hoa Xanh chain, registered to sell 200,000 shares from May 20th to June 18th.
However, at the end of the trading session, Mr. Trong only managed to sell 94,700 shares due to unfavorable market conditions. As a result, his ownership decreased from 3,226,804 shares, representing 0.22%, to 3,121,104 shares, representing 0.21% of the charter capital.
Previously, the Dragon Capital group sold a net of 243,600 MWG shares, reducing its ownership to 6.99% of the charter capital. Specifically, Norges Bank sold 223,600 shares, Vietnam Enterprise Investments Limited sold 200,000 shares, Hanoi Investments Holdings Limited bought 150,000 shares, and Amersham Industries Limited bought 30,000 shares.
In terms of revenue, in 2024, the Bach Hoa Xanh chain recorded a 30% increase in revenue compared to the same period, reaching VND 41,000 billion; and in the first three months of 2025, the Bach Hoa Xanh chain's revenue increased by another 20% compared to the same period last year, reaching VND 11,000 billion, and opened 232 new stores, bringing the total number of stores to 2,002.
At the 2024 Annual General Meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mobile World Group , shared with shareholders the company's next fundraising plan after selling 5% of its capital to a foreign fund: “We have no plans to raise capital for Bach Hoa Xanh yet. From now until then, we are no longer in the loss-making phase, so we will focus on developing and listing Bach Hoa Xanh as committed to investors. When Bach Hoa Xanh is large enough, when it has profits of several trillion VND, we can wait until then to go public.”
As of the end of April, MWG was operating a total of 1,017 Mobile World stores (including Topzone), 2,025 Dien May Xanh stores, 2,129 Bach Hoa Xanh stores, 326 An Khang pharmacies, 62 AVAKids stores, and 99 Era Blue stores.
This year, MWG projects net revenue of 150,000 billion VND and after-tax profit of 4,850 billion VND, representing increases of 12% and 30% respectively compared to 2024.
