Provincial leaders attend the Buddha's Birthday celebration.

On the morning of May 31st, at Phap Hoa Pagoda (Nghia Lo ward), Nguyen Hoang Giang, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and U Huan, Alternate Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, attended the grand Buddha's Birthday celebration for the Buddhist year 2570 - Gregorian year 2026.

Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang; Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province U Huan; and other dignitaries, monks and nuns performed the flag-raising ceremony.

Delegates, dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers reviewed the significance of the Buddha Shakyamuni's birth day; listened to the Buddha's Birthday Message for the year 2570 of the Buddhist calendar from the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Association and the Buddha's Birthday Celebration speech from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Association; and commemorated the heroic martyrs who fell for the country.

Delegates, venerable monks and nuns, and Buddhist followers performed traditional rituals praying for national peace and prosperity, favorable weather, and peaceful and happy lives for the people.
