The Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Dak Lak province organized the Great Buddha's Birthday Celebration, Buddhist Calendar 2570.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Y Giang Gry Niê Knơng; Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Trần Doãn Tới, along with leaders of provincial and local departments and agencies, attended the event.

Representing the Buddhist Church were Venerable Thich Chau Quang, Member of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, and Chairman of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dak Lak province; Venerable Thich Nguyen Minh, Member of the Central Executive Council and Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dak Lak province; other Venerable members of the Council of Elders and the Board of Elders of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dak Lak province; and a large number of monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers.

At the grand ceremony, delegates listened to the Buddha's Birthday message for the year 2570 of the Buddhist calendar from the Venerable Grand Master of the Vietnam Buddhist Association, calling on all monks, nuns, and Buddhists to continue to uphold the spirit of patriotism, live virtuous lives, foster national unity, and build a more prosperous homeland.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province, Y Giang Gry Niê Knơng, affirmed that Buddhism, with nearly 1 million followers, continues to be an important force, living together in solidarity and compassion, becoming an important internal resource contributing positively to the sustainable development of Dak Lak province.

Along with that, they should strengthen propaganda and mobilization efforts to encourage monks, nuns, and Buddhists to strictly adhere to the Party's guidelines, State policies, and laws; strongly promote the tradition of "protecting the nation and ensuring the people's well-being," live "a good life and a beautiful faith," spread the good moral values ​​of Buddhism, and contribute to building an image of Dak Lak's homeland and people rich in cultural identity, humanistic values, compassion, responsibility, and full of aspirations for contribution…
