The delegation was led by Most Venerable Thich Tam Man - Member of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha province.

At the reception, Most Venerable Thich Tam Man informed about the activities of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Gia Lai province after merging the Executive Committees of the two former provinces of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai.
At the same time, Venerable Thich Tam Man respectfully thanked the provincial authorities at all levels for their attention and facilitation in recent times. This support has helped Buddhist followers exercise their right to freedom of belief and religion.
The Venerable also affirmed that the Executive Committee will continue to mobilize monks, nuns, and Buddhists to unite and accompany the Party Committee, government, and people of the province in building great national unity, bringing Gia Lai homeland to further development.
Venerable Thich Tam Man also expressed his wish to continue receiving guidance from the Provincial Party Committee's leaders so that religious activities will become increasingly rich and diverse, contributing to the overall development of Gia Lai.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ngoc Luong expressed his pleasure at welcoming the delegation; at the same time, acknowledged and highly appreciated the solidarity and unity in the activities of the Executive Committee in recent times.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Luong also affirmed and appreciated the contributions of the Executive Committee, dignitaries, officials, monks, nuns, and Buddhists to the socio -economic development, emulation movements of the province as well as in social security activities.
After implementing the policy of rearranging administrative units at all levels, the merger of Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces into the new Gia Lai province opens up many potentials, advantages, space and space for stronger development. However, this process also raises many issues that need to be resolved promptly and more effectively.
Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Luong expressed his belief that with the achievements that have been made, all dignitaries, monks and Buddhists in Gia Lai province will continue to build a strong national unity bloc; promote patriotism through participating in local patriotic emulation movements, for an increasingly rich and civilized Gia Lai.
He also emphasized that the relationship between the Party Committee, government and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province will continue to develop positively, based on the spirit of understanding and companionship for the common interests of the community and society.

* On the same afternoon, at the Provincial People's Committee Headquarters, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep also received a working delegation from the Standing Committee of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province.

At the reception, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep gave preliminary information on the achievements in socio-economic development of the province in recent times and after the reorganization of administrative units at all levels; at the same time, he affirmed that in that common success, there are contributions from dignitaries, officials, monks and Buddhist followers.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also hopes that the Executive Committee, along with dignitaries, officials, monks, nuns, and Buddhists, will continue to inherit and promote the good moral and cultural values of the nation and religion, the spirit of living a "good life, good religion" to continue to accompany the government and people in the province to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws; complete the set goals, all for the common development of the province.
