Install cameras in classrooms to monitor teachers accused of beating students

Because parents let their students take time off from school because they thought the teacher was cursing and beating them, Dong Tien Secondary School (Dong Tien Commune, Dong Son District, Thanh Hoa ) installed cameras in the classroom to monitor and clarify the incident.

On November 14, Mr. Nguyen Son Hung, Principal of Dong Tien Secondary School, confirmed that parents of class 6B of this school had sent a petition to the school requesting clarification on the female English teacher who had beaten, cursed, and insulted many students of class 6B.

According to Mr. Hung, after receiving the petition, the school worked with the accused female teacher. However, the female teacher denied the incident and said that the accusation by the parents was false and had no evidence to prove it.

According to Mr. Hung, in previous school years, this female teacher was reported to have beaten and cursed students.

"Up to now (November 14 - PV) there is not enough evidence to prove that the female English teacher has beaten, cursed, and insulted many students. Therefore, the school is installing public cameras in the classrooms where this female English teacher teaches, to monitor whether there is any beating or cursing of students.

In addition to the incident related to the petition of the parents of class 6B, for about a week now, the parents of class 6A have allowed all students to skip extra classes with this English teacher. These are extra classes organized by the school according to regulations, so if the parents do not allow their children to take English classes, the school will have to accept it," said Mr. Hung.
