Thanh Sen streets are bright with flags and flowers to welcome the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

In less than a week, the 20th Congress of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, will take place. As the location for the province's important political event, since the beginning of September, Thanh Sen Ward has launched a peak campaign to renovate, restore urban order and discipline associated with building urban civilization.

Each street and neighborhood has become a construction site, being renovated and repainted to create highlights; businesses have simultaneously removed illegal roofs and billboards; neighborhood groups have mobilized union members, youths and people to clean up the environment, trim trees, clear streets and dispose of garbage.

The Ward Public Service and Urban Order Management Board urgently deployed urban landscape beautification work in the area.

In particular, to create a bright - green - clean - beautiful landscape for the central urban area, the Management Board of Public Services and Urban Order of Thanh Sen Ward has launched a campaign to review all propaganda billboards in the area, dismantle damaged locations that spoil the urban beauty; and replace the propaganda content with the slogan welcoming the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

At the same time, coordinate with the Thanh Sen Regional Electricity Management Team and telecommunications units to inspect and review locations of power lines and telecommunications cables that do not meet requirements, and handle "airborne garbage" to ensure the urban landscape.

Remind people to comply with regulations to ensure urban order and beauty on the roads.

Mr. Dau Tien Dung - Deputy Director of the Management Board of Public Services and Urban Order said: "After storm No. 5, many landscape works, telecommunication cable infrastructure, power lines, etc. were severely damaged, the amount of waste was large, so it took a lot of time to renovate and process. Under the direction of the Ward People's Committee, urban renovation work and environmental sanitation were launched throughout the area, mobilizing all forces, people in residential groups and agencies and units to participate.

Up to this point, the work of decorating the streets, hanging flags and slogans for the congress; environmental sanitation and waste treatment has basically been completed. The Management Board is continuing to assign inspection teams to handle violations of urban order and construction order to maintain discipline and urban order in the area; coordinating with the Thanh Sen Regional Electricity Management Team and VNPT Ha Tinh to bundle telecommunication cables and power lines to create a bright, clean and beautiful appearance on the roads, determined to complete before September 25.

Units to inspect, review and handle "airborne garbage".

According to the Management Board of Public Services and Urban Order, up to now, the unit has confiscated and dismantled 52 advertising billboards and 150 banners that violate regulations; renovated and handled 20 advertising billboards; collected and transported 1,137 tons of household waste due to the impact of storm No. 5; trimmed, supported, and replanted 4,890 trees. In addition, the unit has inspected, cleaned, and repaired fountain systems, lighting, central LED lights, and installed new solar panels for park lighting systems... to create a highlight for the city, towards the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

It is expected that the work of bundling and arranging telecommunication cables will be completed on September 25.

Mr. Pham Hong Thanh, an officer of VNPT Ha Tinh, said: “We have just bundled the cables in use and removed damaged, useless or excess cables hanging on poles to ensure a neat, safe and aesthetically pleasing system.

Due to the high population density and large cable infrastructure of some routes, especially after storm No. 5, many routes were sagging and had broken anchor cables, so the renovation work encountered many difficulties. However, with the goal of completing as soon as possible, we are taking advantage of every hour to ensure the cable lines are neat, safe, and aesthetically pleasing for the central ward, contributing with other sectors and units to best serve the important event of the province."

The highlight project of Thanh Sen ward at the roundabout of Phan Dinh Phung - Ham Nghi and Ha Huy Tap streets has been basically completed.

The atmosphere of excitement and responsibility towards the big festival also spread to all residential groups and people. Units maintained environmental sanitation campaigns every Saturday and Sunday, each alley and residential area was hung with new slogans, people also took care to decorate their gates, gardens, and hung the national flag...
