The Ramuwan Festival of the Cham people

The Ramuwan Festival is a major and significant festival in the social life of the Cham community following the Awal religion. The festival has been preserved and passed down through generations and takes place annually at specific times according to the Cham Awal calendar. The Ramuwan tomb-visiting festival is an occasion for the Cham people to remember their ancestors and educate their children about filial piety, gratitude to their origins, and the principle of remembering one's roots. The Ramuwan tomb-visiting festival is an indispensable spiritual and cultural product of the Cham Awal people, and it is also a beautiful aspect of their culture, contributing to the unique cultural identity and blending harmoniously with the diverse Vietnamese culture.
