Groundbreaking Ceremony of “August 19 House”

DTO - Practically responding to the activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), on July 10, the Youth Union of Dong Thap Provincial Public Security coordinated with the authorities of My Hiep commune (Dong Thap province) to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the "August 19 House" for Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh (born in 1979), residing in Hamlet 3, My Hiep commune.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh is currently a member of the force participating in protecting security and order at the My Hiep commune base.

The construction cost of “August 19 House” is 100 million VND, sponsored by the Youth Union of Dong Thap Provincial Police Department, Tan Son Nhat International Airport Border Gate Police, and the VIETNAM AIRLINES Flight Attendant Union.

The house is expected to be completed and handed over to Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh's family in mid-August 2025.
