This is the third pilot project that Lenovo cooperates with Google for Education, after two successful pilot projects at Vinschool Golden River (HCMC) and Doan Thi Diem Secondary School (Can Tho). This project will donate 60 Lenovo 500e Chromebook Gen 3 devices (Intel), specially designed for 8 classes of 6th grade and 10 teachers in charge of 8 subjects of the school.
This pilot project is implemented under the direction of the Digital Transformation Advisory Council of Dong Nai province with the collaboration of many departments and agencies. The project at Tran Hung Dao Secondary School will help promote the digital transformation of the province's education sector by exploiting the outstanding benefits of Google's educational solutions in the community.
The Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province, in collaboration with the research team of Saigon University, will evaluate the experiences of teachers and students when using Chromebooks and Google tools. In addition, AI Education and Bard Academy (Google's artificial intelligence academy) will provide "digital teacher" training programs to have the mindset, knowledge and skills to apply digital tools, including digital tools. Artificial intelligence to enhance the teaching and learning experience with the "digital school" model.
Teaching and learning on Chromebooks will be supported by the Chrome Education Upgrade educational operating system, along with Google Workspace for Education tools such as Google Classroom and Google Meet. All training programs and software used are approved by the Department of Education and Training and the Board School PrincipalYes.
