On April 18th and 22nd, joint rehearsals for the parade and march will take place on Le Duan Street, from 9 PM to midnight. Following these two rehearsals, the forces will conduct a preliminary rehearsal on April 25th (from 8 PM to 11 PM) and a full rehearsal on April 27th (from 7 AM to 12 PM) on Le Duan Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

The official parade and march will take place at 6:30 AM on April 30th, with the participation of approximately 13,000 people from 48 parade and marching contingents; it will coincide with the commemoration ceremony. The contingent will start from the Nguyen Binh Khiem intersection, proceed along Le Duan Street, and pass the main reviewing stand in front of the Reunification Hall. Afterwards, they will split into four directions and move towards the assembly point.

In addition, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of national reunification, Ho Chi Minh City will also have fireworks displays at 30 locations and drone demonstrations, specifically:

On April 19th and April 26th, high-altitude fireworks will be launched at the Saigon Riverfront Cultural Park (Thu Duc City) at 9:30 PM. On April 19th specifically, Ho Chi Minh City will showcase 2,000 drones overhead over the Saigon River (the section in front of Nguyen Hue Street) at 9:15 PM.

On April 30th, Ho Chi Minh City will showcase 10,500 drones over the Saigon River, Thu Duc City, and District 1 (from 8:30 PM to 8:45 PM). Simultaneously, at 9 PM, high-altitude fireworks will be launched at the Saigon River waterfront park (Thu Duc City) and Ben Duoc Temple (Cu Chi District), and low-altitude fireworks will be launched at 28 locations in the districts and communes of Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, on April 19th, 26th, 29th, and 30th (from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM), Ho Chi Minh City will organize a series of activities titled "Colors of Ho Chi Minh City"; in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council and People's Committee headquarters; Nguyen Hue pedestrian street..., specifically:

The "National Reunification Day" program (April 30th, at Nguyen Hue pedestrian street and the Saigon River area) will feature a 3D mapping art projection in collaboration with creative teams from France, Singapore, Belgium, and Vietnam.

In addition to the special events mentioned above, Ho Chi Minh City also has other activities such as the Lighting Show (on the night of April 19th), in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building.

On April 30th, from 7 PM to 7:25 PM, a special cavalry parade organized by the Ministry of Public Security will also take place, scheduled to run along Nguyen Hue Street from Ton Duc Thang Street towards the Lotus Fountain (Nguyen Hue - Le Loi intersection) and then back to Ton Duc Thang Street.

On the evening of April 30th, there was also a community art performance called "The Checked Scarf Dance" on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street.
