The art program "Unified Nation," commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, recreated the glorious history of the nation through various art forms and modern equipment and technology.
On the evening of April 30th, at Lam Vien Square in Da Lat city, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, in coordination with the People's Committee of Da Lat city and BEE Media Co., Ltd., organized an art program with the theme "Unified Nation," commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the Unification of the Country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The artistic program consists of four chapters: Under the glorious banner of the Party and beloved Uncle Ho, the pain of separation, fighting and victory, the spring of great victory - the reunification of the country.

Directed by Bui The Anh; commentary by journalist and poet Uong Thai Bieu. The program features renowned artists beloved by the public, such as People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, Meritorious Artist Pham The Vi; singers Bui Le Man, Dong Quan, Nguyen Hai Yen, Tieu Long, Trung Hieu and music groups Fly, Song Nhi, TS Band… along with dance troupes.
The art program attracted a large number of Da Lat residents and tourists.
“From the Autumn Uprising to the Great Victory of Spring 1975/Revolution is the great undertaking of the masses/The great ship, the glorious Party, steers with firm hands/The whole nation fights together until final victory/And builds up sacred values… “Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom!”, Uncle Ho’s teachings are the words of the nation/Engrave the words of unity, the whole nation moves forward together/Facing the fate of the Fatherland/A boundless source of strength has surged/Overwhelming all invading forces!” A passage from the commentary, opening the political art program “Unified Nation,” attracted thousands of viewers in the city of a thousand flowers, Da Lat.

The songs range from stirring and profound anthems like "The Party Flag," the medley "Rise Up and Go - Sing on the Path of Struggle," "From the Lotus Village," "Mother and the Fatherland," to songs expressing the "pain of separation," such as "The Song by Hien Luong Wharf"; and the spirit of Ho Chi Minh's soldiers with "Footsteps on the Truong Son Mountain Range," "The Road We Take," and "No Enemy Can Stop Our March"...
Then the medley "Marching Towards Saigon - Liberating the South" and "The Nation's Complete Joy and Aspiration for Great Strength" followed, like an epic of music , dance, and emotion, recreating the nation's journey from the hardships of war to the glorious victory, the reunification of the country, and the building of a new life.

Attending the art program, Ms. Nguyen Hoai Thu, a resident of Da Lat city, proudly said: “Along with the rest of the country, the atmosphere of the Day of National Reunification in Da Lat is truly heroic. Cultural and artistic programs are taking place everywhere, contributing to arousing the pride of all levels of people in the fine traditions of our homeland and country.”

During the holiday commemorating the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Vietnam, Da Lat-Lam Dong began attracting a large number of tourists. Among the crowds attending the "Reunified Nation" art program, we met a special visitor, a veteran who had fought and defended the achievements of the revolution in Lam Dong and the Central Highlands - Tran Van Hung (from Khanh Hoa province). He shared: "I came here to relive the memories of a heroic era, to witness the dramatic changes in the land where I was once stationed."
