Volleyball match schedule today August 23: Vietnam meets the world's number 3 team

VHO - At 8:30 p.m. tonight (August 23), the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will play the opening match of Group G of the 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship in Thailand against the world's third-ranked team Poland.

At the 2025 World Championship, the Vietnamese women's team (ranked 22nd in the world ) is in Group G with opponents Poland (ranked 3rd in the world), Germany (ranked 11th in the world) and Kenya (ranked 23rd in the world).

Poland has a quality and even squad of players.

According to the schedule, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will have their first match against Poland on August 23, Germany on August 25 and Kenya on August 27.

Right in the opening match, the Vietnamese women's team will face a huge challenge when their opponent is the world's third-ranked team, Poland.
