Previously, access to the internet and information technology was quite unfamiliar to many people in the remote villages of Dan Hoa commune. Many elderly people had never used a computer, while teenagers who wanted to search for information or study online faced many limitations due to lack of resources.

The emergence of community internet access points therefore signifies a "new gateway" opening up opportunities for people to access knowledge. Here, people can search for information, learn new things, access online public services, and gradually become familiar with the digital environment.
Mr. Ho Van Huong, a resident of Bai Dinh village, shared: “Previously, it was very difficult for people to find information or complete procedures online because they lacked the means. Now that there is an internet access point right at the community center, we are very happy and grateful for the program. Children in the village have better learning opportunities, and adults can also find more information to help them in their lives.”

More than just places to access the internet, community internet access points are also considered "open classrooms." Here, youth union members of the Quang Tri Provincial Police, along with the digital transformation team of the commune police, directly assist people in using computers, searching for information on the internet, carrying out online administrative procedures, and accessing applications that serve daily life and production.
According to Captain Trinh Van Quan of the Youth Department of the Quang Tri Provincial Police, the "Community Internet Access Point - Digital Literacy Program for the People" model was implemented to help narrow the digital divide between developed and border areas, while promoting the pioneering role of young police officers in the digital transformation process.

"Through this model, we hope to help people in border areas gradually access technology and develop digital skills in their lives. At the same time, we aim to spread the spirit that every youth union member is a digital transformation advocate," said Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Van Quan.
In the context of the ongoing digital transformation, these "digital classrooms" in Dan Hoa village not only help people access technology but also open up opportunities for learning, improving knowledge, and gradually narrowing the development gap between the border region and other areas.
