Brigade 954 welcomes delegation from Vietnam Aviation Academy for practical training

The 954th Naval Air Brigade recently hosted a delegation of officers, lecturers and students from the Vietnam Aviation Academy to study at the brigade. Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Thuyen - Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the brigade chaired the event.

The brigade commander gave a brief introduction to the delegation about the formation, development, functions and tasks of the brigade and some outstanding results in the implementation of training, combat readiness, search and rescue flights, military transport, and contributions to protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. The delegates also directly visited the technical area, traditional houses, airport and modern equipment and vehicles of the brigade.

The exchange program is within the framework of cooperation and connection between the Vietnam Aviation Academy and the unit to help students have the opportunity to learn about the actual training and combat readiness activities of the brigade; at the same time, enhance understanding of the traditions, tasks and roles of the 954 Naval Air Brigade in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
