TPO - A foam factory near National Highway 13 ( Binh Duong ) suddenly caught fire during a heavy rainstorm. Authorities were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the blaze.
At approximately 4 PM on August 22nd, a foam factory near the Cay Trom intersection on National Highway 13, in Chanh My ward (Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province), suddenly caught fire.
As soon as the fire broke out, some residents came to help put it out but were unsuccessful, so they reported it to the authorities for assistance.
Upon receiving the report, authorities in Binh Duong province and Thu Dau Mot city dispatched numerous specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.
At the scene, the fire was raging, with a column of smoke rising dozens of meters high. It was raining heavily in the area where the fire occurred.

As of 5 PM that same day, authorities were still working to extinguish the fire. The blaze did not cause any casualties, but a significant amount of property was destroyed.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the authorities.
