(BLC) – Within the framework of the 2023 District Culture, Sports and Tourism Week, on December 8, the Organizing Committee (OC) of the Muong Te District Culture, Sports and Tourism Week organized a Mass Arts Festival with the theme "Shimmering cultural colors of ethnic groups in the upper Da River".
Participating in this year's competition are 14 groups, with over 300 artisans and mass actors from communes and towns in the district.
Thanks to careful preparation, the teams brought to the contest unique and attractive performances of various genres, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland and country, and revolutionary traditions.

The performances were invested in and elaborately staged by the teams, combining tradition and modernity with a large contingent of non-professional actors, many promising young faces with an optimistic spirit and a passion for art. In particular, the units participating in this festival have innovated in form and content, improved artistic quality, creating rich colors, while contributing to honoring the cultural identity of the ethnic groups.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 69 prizes. Of which, the first prize for the whole group went to the Ka Lang Commune Mass Art Troupe; the second prize went to the groups: Muong Te Town, Pa U; the third prize went to the communes: Thu Lum, Muong Te, Bum Nua, Vang San, Ta Tong and 56 prizes for singing, dancing and music performances. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded additional prizes to the youngest, oldest, most promising actors, best MCs, and best program directors.
