Tran Thanh Sang, born in 1995, is a construction engineer and currently a member of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Vinh Long province.

Enjoying capturing everyday moments and landscapes during his travels and explorations, Tran Thanh Sang developed a passion for photography through connections with other young, like-minded photographers in the province.

His hometown of Vinh Long (formerly Ben Tre province) offers countless themes for his creative work: the land of coconuts, the peaceful countryside characteristic of the riverine region, the lush green rice fields, the two streams of salt and sweet water, the Cai Lon sluice gate, the farming villages, the pottery villages, the flower villages, the salt fields, the Long Xuyen floating market, the vast Hau River, memories of flood seasons, bountiful rice harvests, and the riverside docks...

Working in the construction industry, Sang had the opportunity to travel extensively, not only in the Mekong Delta but also throughout the country. Suddenly, while adrift on the vast waterways, he longed for the ocean waves, missed the Central Highlands, yearned for mountain climbing, and wanted to wander as a backpacker...

He works diligently, embarks on tireless journeys, and captures the beautiful moments of life. This effort brings him joy, valuable experiences on his creative journeys, and numerous photography awards: “New Energy,” exhibited at the 2022 Vietnam Art Photography Competition and Exhibition; “Joining Hands to Fight Covid” and “Supporting the Journey Home 1,” exhibited at the 2022 “Moments from the Heart” Current Event and Art Photography Competition; “Dead Sea,” the People's Choice Award at the 2022 Mekong Delta Climate Change Adaptation Energy Competition; “Clean Energy” (Tinh Bien - An Giang) exhibited and “Maintaining the Border” (Ha Tien - Kien Giang) received the Encouragement Award at the national-level ANT Competition and Exhibition “Proud of a Border Region”; “Maintaining the Border,” the Young Author Award at the 2023 Literature and Arts Awards of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations. “Harvesting sedges”, VN23 International Photography Exhibition; the photo series “The Beauty of Mang Thít, the ‘Brick Kingdom’” won the Gold Medal at the 2024 Mekong Delta Regional Photography Festival; “Twin spheres in the early morning sun”, Bronze Medal at the 2025 Young Photographers Festival... and many First, Second, and Third prizes in photography competitions of Vinh Long province.
