Nghe An province has just approved the investment plan for the construction of two housing projects for workers in the VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park in Hung Nguyen district, with a total of 3,541 units, providing accommodation for 13,606 workers.
Luxshare ICT Nghe An will build more than 3,500 houses for its workers.
DNVN - Luxshare ICT Nghe An Group will invest 12,210 billion VND to build over 3,500 social housing units in Hung Nguyen district.
The Luxshare ICT Nghe An workers' housing complex in the VSIP industrial park has been put into use.
The worker housing area of the Luxshare ICT Nghe An 1 factory project in the VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park covers an area of 0.33 hectares with 253 apartments for 1,132 workers, with a total investment of VND 3,549.5 billion. Meanwhile, the worker accommodation project of the Luxshare ICT Nghe An 2 factory project in the VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park covers an area of 4.43 hectares with 3,288 apartments for 12,474 workers, with a total investment of VND 8,652.5 billion. These two housing projects are part of the infrastructure investment project of Luxshare ICT Hung Nguyen Group.
To date, Nghe An has 5 worker housing areas in industrial zones, including the Luxshare - ICT factory project dormitory (Nghe An), which has been completed and provides accommodation for approximately 8,220 workers; the Everwin Precision Technology (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. dormitory, which meets the accommodation needs of approximately 1,200 workers; and the JuTeng electronic product and auto parts manufacturing plant dormitory project in Hoang Mai I Industrial Zone, which is currently under construction and will provide accommodation for approximately 20,000 workers.
Previously, Nghe An province approved the investment plan for four social housing projects for workers in industrial zones within the Southeast Economic Zone, totaling approximately 8,200 units. Of these, nearly 7,300 units belong to two projects by Central Vietnam MK Solar Power Joint Stock Company and BMC International Trade Joint Stock Company in Nghi Long and Nghi Thuan communes (Nghi Loc district); 525 apartment units and 23 low-rise townhouses for workers and laborers in industrial zones are being built by Kim Thi Real Estate Joint Stock Company in Nghi Xa commune (Nghi Loc district); and nearly 300 units belong to a project by Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company in Nghi Tien commune (Nghi Loc district).
In line with the Government 's plan to build 1 million social housing units by 2030, Nghe An province aims to construct approximately 28,500 social housing units for over 50,000 workers in the province.
