Man City finalize name to replace De Bruyne

According to the Daily Mail , manager Pep Guardiola believes the German star can bring dynamism and creativity and become the leading brain of Man City, similar to what De Bruyne has done over the past decade.

Wirtz is one of Europe's most notable talents. He played a major role in Leverkusen's unbeaten Bundesliga title win in the 2023/24 season. Since the start of last season, Wirtz has been involved in 41 goals in 57 matches, demonstrating his effectiveness as an attacking force.
