(To Quoc) - The live performance art program "Vietnam - Legendary historical poem: Thang Long - Four towns" is a combination of light projection technology and popular art on a large stage, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel heritage site, Hanoi on the evening of December 29.
More than 100 professional actors from 6 theaters under the Ministry created a colorful artistic picture. The program recreated and honored the imprints associated with the thousand-year history of civilization such as the heritage of Thang Long Imperial Citadel to Thang Long-Tu Tran; at the same time, deeply reflected the cultural life of Vietnamese people through many generations.
Attending the event were Associate Professor Dr. Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders of Hanoi departments and agencies, leaders of the Department of Performing Arts and 6 theaters under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and thousands of people in the capital to enjoy this special art program.
"Thang Long - Tu Tran" is a comprehensive contemporary folk art program: live performance, animation, skill performance, new composition, interaction, space installation and fine arts, including traditional stage performances. The program uses modern sound and lighting technology, 3D Mapping stage interaction technology, realistic graphics in virtual space.
Thang Long - The Four Guardians associated with the birth of the capital Thang Long during the Ly Dynasty in 1010, are the legends and existing relics of four sacred guardian gods protecting the capital Thang Long. They are: Bach Ma Temple in the East, worshiping Long Do god; Voi Phuc Temple in the West, worshiping Linh Lang Dai Vuong god; Kim Lien Temple in the South, worshiping Cao Son Dai Vuong god; Quan Thanh Temple in the North, worshiping Huyen Thien Tran Vu god.
The event is expected to become a bridge to widely promote national historical culture and stimulate tourism, especially at the World Cultural Heritage site of Thang Long Imperial Citadel.

Not just a simple art program, this is also a new development in conveying historical stories through many art forms, requiring close coordination between participating units.
The program contributes to spreading the historical and traditional values of Vietnam, both promoting and ensuring artistic value and attracting tourists.

With a duration of 80 minutes, each scene and each story in the program is brought to life through a smooth combination of traditional performing arts and modern interactive stage technology, bringing a unique artistic experience.
The program Vietnam - Legendary historical poems: Thang Long - Tu Tran is the first version in a long-term series of art programs, combining tradition and modernity. With the goal of creating resonance, preserving and developing sustainable culture, the program hopes to promote the image of Thang Long, the unique cultural features of the nation to domestic and international tourists.
