On May 6, in Hanoi, 1Matrix company, a member of the Vietnam Blockchain Association, was officially launched.
Promoting the process of Vietnam mastering blockchain technology
This event marks the “Make in Vietnam” blockchain network and the mission of mastering strategic infrastructure technology, contributing to Vietnam mastering blockchain technology, creating a foundation for outstanding development in the digital age.
Complete mastery of technology and intellectual property in the blockchain field not only helps Vietnam proactively apply technology to the development process of the digital economy, digital society, and digital future, but also strengthens national sovereignty over data, information security, and elevates Vietnam's position in the international arena.
Mr. Phan Duc Trung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of 1Matrix Company, Chairman of Vietnam Blockchain Association
According to Mr. Phan Duc Trung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of 1Matrix Company, Chairman of the Vietnam Blockchain Association: Not just a technology, the "Make in Vietnam" blockchain network will be a decentralized digital infrastructure for public data, public services, digital finance and distributed ledger technology applications DLT (a decentralized data storage system, in which information and records are distributed across many different servers or network nodes) for Vietnam's digital economy.
"We aim to create a foundation of original technology - core technology - from consensus algorithms, data mechanisms, network security, to user experience based on the inheritance of previous blockchain technologies. This will be the first blockchain service network designed and operated by Vietnamese people to meet international interconnection standards," Mr. Phan Duc Trung emphasized.
Previously, according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, blockchain was identified as one of the strategic technologies and building high-quality human resources is a key priority.
In the National Blockchain Strategy on application and development of blockchain technology issued by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1236/QD-TTg dated October 22, 2024, the goal by 2030 is for Vietnam to become a leading country in the region and have an international position in the blockchain industry.
In this Strategy, the Vietnam Blockchain Association is assigned to coordinate with enterprises to develop "Make in Vietnam" blockchain platforms, build operating, exploitation and interaction mechanisms, and interconnect between types of blockchain networks operating on Vietnam's blockchain infrastructure and gather Vietnamese digital technology enterprises to build blockchain platforms, promote information sharing, and enhance competitiveness with foreign enterprises.
Lieutenant General Dang Vu Son, former Head of the Government Cipher Committee, said: “For Vietnam to truly be on the global digital technology map, we need more innovators, businesses that dare to think big and do real things like 1Matrix, and a technology ecosystem with depth and identity. I believe that with the support of management agencies, the close connection of the business community, research institutes and universities, especially the spread of initiatives like VietChain Talents, we will gradually build a strong blockchain ecosystem, a safe and transparent digital infrastructure, contributing to ensuring national sovereignty in cyberspace, for a self-reliant Vietnam in the digital age.”

At the same time, it contributes to building a national blockchain ecosystem and network, promoting digital transformation and raising public awareness of new technology fields.
In order to achieve these goals, 1Matrix identifies the quality of human resources as the most important factor, not only for the company's own development but also directly affecting the development of the Vietnamese blockchain industry. Therefore, the contest "Searching for Vietnamese blockchain talents: VietChain Talents 2025" aims to discover, nurture and gradually build high-quality human resources for the domestic blockchain technology industry.
