At the ceremony to announce the Resolution of the National Assembly, the Decision of the Central Committee, the Decision of the locality on merging administrative units, establishing Party organizations, Fatherland Front of provinces, cities, communes, wards, and special zones organized by the Hanoi Party Committee on the morning of June 30, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong presented the decision to establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee decided to establish the Hanoi City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, consisting of 10 committees, advisory units, and 16 public service units and affiliated economic units.

The City Party Committee's decision also clearly states: The Hanoi City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee performs its functions and tasks according to Regulation No. 301-QD/TU, dated June 9, 2025 of the Central Party Secretariat on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the provincial and communal levels and related regulations.
