Emotional conflict leads husband to throw acid in wife's face.

On July 27th, the Thach Thanh District Police issued a decision to temporarily detain Bui Duy Khanh, born in 1989, residing in Thanh Cong commune, Thach Thanh district, on charges of intentionally causing injury.

The suspect is Bui Duy Khanh.

Previously, there was a conflict between Bui Duy Khanh and his wife, QTM (born in 1990, residing in Thanh Cong commune, Thach Thanh district), regarding family matters. Despite repeated interventions and mediation by the Thanh My commune police and other relevant agencies, the conflict remained unresolved.

At approximately 7 PM on July 26th, after receiving a report from Mr. QVL (Ms. M.'s father) about Ms. M. being held captive at home by Khanh and not allowed to leave, the Thanh Cong Commune Police went to the house to investigate and invited both of them to the commune police station to resolve the matter.

While Ms. M. was pushing her motorbike to the commune police station, Khanh went into the room, took a bottle of acid (contained in a glass bottle, 20ml capacity) and threw it directly at Ms. M.'s face, causing injuries to her face and both eyes, requiring her to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Shortly afterwards, Khanh was arrested by the Thanh Cong commune police, and a report was filed documenting his arrest for committing a crime in flagrante delicto.

According to initial information, Ms. M suffered severe injuries to her face, neck, and both eyes, with the possibility of permanent blindness.
