“I was officially assigned to work at Vietnam Television in Hanoi in 2017. Although I was part of the Science and Education Department - VTV2, the station's leadership still trusted me to participate in work on VTV1 and VTV3 channels.”

During my nine years working at VTV in Hanoi, I truly matured a great deal. Working in a dynamic, professional, and collaborative environment, I underwent very positive changes, learned a lot of new knowledge, and broadened my horizons to better perform my job.

"I was also sent to study abroad and became a true Hanoian. I consider VTV2 my second home, a place that has given me so many memories of my youth," MC Hong Phuc expressed.

MC Hong Phuc also shared that last night (May 31st), after hosting the Robocon Vietnam final, he went straight to Noi Bai Airport to fly to Ho Chi Minh City because he was very afraid of saying goodbye. He was afraid that if everyone cried, he would cry too.

“I will never forget the affection that the leaders of Vietnam Television, my colleagues in the Science and Education Department and many other departments have shown me over the past 9 years. This year also marks my 25th anniversary of working at VTV. When I first came to Hanoi to work, I was only 37 years old, and now that I'm back in Ho Chi Minh City, I'm 46. Nine years is not too long, but it's not short either; it's enough to create a very different person and give me many experiences to live more positively,” MC Hong Phuc emphasized.

MC Hong Phuc said that during his time working in Hanoi, he bought a house to live in because he decided to settle there for the long term. He also became a true Hanoian, addicted to dishes like pho, bun dau mam tom (vermicelli with tofu and shrimp paste), and bun cha nuong (grilled pork with vermicelli)... And when he returned to Ho Chi Minh City for work as assigned, he still kept that house and did not sell it.

According to MC Hong Phuc, upon returning to VTV9, he was assigned to host "Second Youth" – a television program aimed at the elderly with a relatable, modern, and inspiring approach. The program is produced by the Southern Region Television Center of Vietnam and broadcast weekly on VTV9.

Unlike the familiar perspective that often focuses on children and grandchildren caring for the elderly, "Second Youth" explores the image of elderly people being proactive in life. They shop for themselves, travel , pursue personal hobbies, participate in community activities, and enjoy life in their own way.

People's Artist Xuan Bac reveals little-known aspects of the 10-year relationship between Viet Hoa and Trong Tri.

"Second Youth" also conveys the message that age is just a number. What matters most is optimism, proactiveness, and passion for life. These values help each person maintain youthfulness in spirit, regardless of age. Returning to Ho Chi Minh City and participating in this new program is considered a memorable milestone in MC Duong Hong Phuc's career.

MC Hong Phuc also plans to create a music video similar to the one titled "Our Youth Says No to Drugs," which received strong public support in 2024.

MC Hong Phuc graduated from the Acting Department of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Film. Before venturing into television, he participated in many films such as: Career Guidance (part 2), Under the Banner of Righteousness , Lost on the Wild Road , Land of Blessing , The Wind Chime Code

He is beloved by television viewers for his warm Southern accent, dynamic style, and for being the host of many popular game shows.

To achieve the success she has today, MC Hong Phuc had to put in a lot of effort and hard work. When she first started her career as a presenter, besides learning from her seniors, Hong Phuc also had to stay up all night to prepare news reports, or constantly travel to remote areas to prepare programs.

To become a professional MC, Hong Phuc realized that passion alone is not enough; one must constantly improve their knowledge to have a broad understanding and always change their style to suit each program, otherwise, sooner or later, they will be eliminated.

Meritorious Artist Chieu Xuan burst into tears, sobbing: "Hermit crabs are so cruel."

Not only is Hong Phuc a successful MC and actor, but he has also tried his hand at music . He participated in the music competition "Born to Be a Pair," and with his powerful and warm voice, Hong Phuc received much love and support from the audience.

Hong Phuc has been married for 27 years to his wife, actress Quynh Phuong. The couple have been together since their humble beginnings and are considered one of the model, happy families in the entertainment industry.
