At the Ignite conference in San Francisco, many IT customers expressed skepticism about Copilot. While CEO Satya Nadella claims to have more than 150 million users, the actual benefits are still controversial.
The price of $30/person/month makes many businesses think that Copilot does not bring worthy value. Some large companies have even moved their entire mail systems to Google to use Gemini.
Microsoft has had to cut prices by 50% for some customers and launch a new $21/month plan. Still, Copilot has the advantage that more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies are using it.
Corporations like Land O'Lakes and Pearson deploy Copilot to tens of thousands of employees. Competition is intensifying, forcing Microsoft to change the way it sells and demonstrates the value of AI.
