According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, on the night of December 28th and throughout December 29th, Northern Vietnam and the area from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh will maintain cold weather at night and in the morning, with some mountainous areas in Northern Vietnam experiencing severe cold, foggy and light mist in the early morning, and sunny weather in the afternoon.
From Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa, there will be rain, showers, and locally moderate to heavy rain with rainfall amounts of 10-30mm, and in some places over 70mm.
Localized heavy rainfall is likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes, and flooding in low-lying areas.
In the Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night, with sunny weather during the day.

Cold weather at night and in the morning, with some areas experiencing severe cold. Lowest temperatures 13-16°C, some places below 10°C. Highest temperatures 22-25°C, some places above 25°C.
In the Northeast region, there will be scattered rain, with light fog and mist in the early morning, and sunny weather in the afternoon. Southeast winds will be at level 2-3. It will be cold at night and in the morning, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold. The lowest temperature will be 15-18°C, 11-14°C in mountainous areas, and below 10°C in some high mountainous areas. The highest temperature will be 22-25°C.
Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue: In the north, there will be scattered rain, with fog and light mist in the early morning, clearing up with sunshine in the afternoon. In the south, there will be rain, showers, and locally moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms. Light winds. There is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms. Cold weather at night and in the morning. Lowest temperature 17-20°C. Highest temperature 22-25°C.
From Da Nang to Binh Thuan, there will be rain, showers, with localized moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms. Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan will have scattered rain. Northeast winds will be at level 2-3. Tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind are possible during thunderstorms. The lowest temperatures will be 20-23°C in the North and 23-26°C in the South. The highest temperatures will be 24-27°C in the North and 28-31°C in the South, with some areas exceeding 31°C.
