The cold air mass continues to blanket the North, bringing cold weather, fog, and intensely cold temperatures in mountainous areas, with some places experiencing severe cold. Frost and hoarfrost may occur in the high mountainous regions of Northern Vietnam.

Northern Vietnam and North Central Vietnam will experience scattered rain, with some areas having fog in the early morning. Specifically, Northeast Vietnam and Thanh Hoa will have light rain, drizzle, and scattered fog during the night and morning, with cold weather, and intensely cold temperatures in mountainous and hilly areas.
The northern region continues to experience cold weather and fog, with intensely cold temperatures in mountainous areas, and even frost in some places. High mountainous areas in the North may experience ice and hoarfrost.

According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, on January 27th, the cold air mass is expected to weaken, with scattered rain in the North, and fog and light mist in the early morning. Specifically, the Northeast region will experience light rain, drizzle, and scattered fog in the early morning, with cold weather, and intensely cold temperatures in some mountainous areas.

In Northern Vietnam, the lowest temperature will be 11-14 degrees Celsius, 8-10 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas, and below 6 degrees Celsius in some high mountainous regions. Daytime temperatures in this area will increase by 3-4 degrees Celsius compared to the previous day, reaching a high of 23 degrees Celsius, with some areas in the Northwest exceeding 25 degrees Celsius; nighttime temperatures will still remain below 9 degrees Celsius in some places.

The weather in Northern Vietnam may continue until January 30th. From January 31st, the North is likely to experience a reinforced cold front, with cloudy skies, scattered light rain, followed by light rain in some areas; winds will shift to northeasterly at level 2, and temperatures will decrease.
