According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, the weather on May 5th across the country will be distinctly different. The North and Central regions will generally have sunny days with moderate temperatures, while the South will continue to experience hot weather.

Notably, many areas will experience showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, posing a potential risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

In the Northwest region, the lowest temperature will be 21-24 degrees Celsius, with some areas below 20 degrees Celsius; the highest temperature will be 27-30 degrees Celsius, with some areas above 30 degrees Celsius. The sky will be cloudy with sunny periods during the day; scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the late afternoon and evening, with light winds.

In the Northeast region, the lowest temperature will be 22-25 degrees Celsius, with some mountainous areas experiencing temperatures below 21 degrees Celsius; the highest temperature will be 27-30 degrees Celsius. The sky will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas, clearing up in the afternoon with sunshine.

From Thanh Hoa to Hue, the lowest temperature will be 21-24 degrees Celsius, and the highest will be 29-32 degrees Celsius. The sky will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas, clearing up in the afternoon with sunshine.

The South Central coastal region will have a lowest temperature of 24-27 degrees Celsius and a highest temperature of 30-33 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 33 degrees Celsius. The weather will be cloudy with sunny periods during the day; showers and thunderstorms are expected in the late afternoon and evening, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the southern part of the region.

The Central Highlands region will have a lowest temperature of 19-22 degrees Celsius and a highest temperature of 28-31 degrees Celsius. The sky will be cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas, and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.

In the Southern region, the lowest temperature will be 24-27 degrees Celsius, and the highest will be 31-34 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 34 degrees Celsius.
