Accordingly, the plan sets a target that in 2025, the number of guests served by accommodation establishments is estimated to reach more than 11.9 million, an increase of 10% compared to 2024 (international visitors are estimated to reach 4.8 million, an increase of more than 17%; domestic visitors are estimated to reach more than 7.1 million, an increase of more than 5%). Revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, and travel in 2025 is estimated to reach more than 36 trillion VND, an increase of more than 15% compared to 2024.

The city focuses on implementing a number of key tasks to promote tourism development to become a spearhead economic sector, including: promoting tourism promotion, proactively implementing the tourism stimulus program in 2025 and the following years; diversifying and improving the quality of tourism products and services; accelerating digital transformation and green transformation in tourism development; creating favorable conditions for tourists to access destinations; strengthening state management of tourism, etc.

Notably, the city focuses on promoting the effective organization of events and festivals to attract visitors in Da Nang, while expanding connections to implement events in Quang Nam: Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, 3rd Asian Film Festival, Da Nang Enjoyment Festival, Opening of the Sea Tourism Season, Vietnam - Japan Festival, Vietnam - Korea Festival, IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam Competition, SPRINT and IRONKID, International Lion Dance Festival, Christmas - New Year Festival 2026, Da Nang Tourism Festival 2025, Horecfex 2025, Hoi An Festival - Summer Emotions, Co Co Festival, Quang Noodle Festival, Hoi An International Lantern Festival...
