
The benchmark scores are announced in the following methods: admission based on 2025 high school graduation exam scores, admission based on 12th grade study results, admission based on the 3-subject combination of 12th grade admissions, and admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University.
The admission score based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam of Dong A University ranges from 15 to 20.5 points. Of which, the majors of Medicine and Pharmacy have the highest scores with 20.5 and 19 points respectively.
Next are Nursing, Midwifery, and Rehabilitation Engineering with a benchmark score of 17 points. All other majors have a benchmark score of 15 points.
For the admission method based on the competency assessment test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, the highest standard score is 800 points for Medicine and Pharmacy; 750 points for Nursing, Midwifery, and Rehabilitation Engineering; and 600 points for other majors.
With the method of considering the results of the transcripts according to the combination of 3 subjects for admission in grade 12, the standard score for Medicine and Pharmacy is 24 points; Nursing, Midwifery, and Rehabilitation Engineering is 19.5 points; all other majors are 18 points.
With the method of considering 12th grade learning results, Medicine and Pharmacy have the highest standard score at 8.0 points; Nursing, Midwifery, and Rehabilitation Engineering have 6.5 points; all other majors are at 6.0 points.
For the Health sector, in addition to the standard score requirements, all candidates must meet the input quality assurance threshold set by the Ministry of Education and Training .
At the same time, each major has its own requirements for academic performance. For Medicine and Pharmacy, candidates must have a grade 12 academic record of Excellent/Good (or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher) and their transcripts must show the overall score of Chemistry or Biology.
For Nursing, Midwifery and Rehabilitation Engineering, the requirement is a grade 12 academic record of Good or higher (or a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher).
Successful candidates will complete the first round of admission procedures from August 23 to 25. Candidates can check their admission results and view admission procedure instructions from 5:00 p.m. on August 22. Successful candidates must confirm their admission online on the Ministry of Education and Training's system before 5:00 p.m. on August 30.
