Decorated with ceramics, creating a unique, tranquil space imbued with traditional culture... these are the highlights of Toki Ceramic Cafe. The cafe also offers a feeling of closeness to nature and is near the bustling tourist attractions of Ha Long City.

Nowadays, many cafes in Ha Long are not only places to enjoy drinks but also impressively decorated spaces, becoming places for relaxation, rejuvenation, and cultural enjoyment for young people. Toki Ceramic Cafe, located in the Mon Bay urban area on Tran Quoc Nghien Street (opposite the Quang Ninh Museum), is highly regarded by many cafe enthusiasts for its unique and innovative style.

Cafe Gốm Toki is located on Tran Quoc Nghien Street, near the Quang Ninh Museum.

Sharing his thoughts on the cafe's founding, Mr. Le Hoang Minh, manager of the ceramic cafe, said: "The cafe started operating in July 2024. The space was designed and built with the founder's personal taste in decoration, aiming to create a relaxing, cozy, minimalist, and friendly atmosphere. The cafe not only offers delicious and unique drinks but also provides a space for experiencing traditional art and culture."

It's clear that the ceramic coffee shop concept is popular in other Asian countries like China, South Korea, and Japan, but it hasn't received much attention in Vietnam. Even in Ha Long City, this type of cafe is quite rare. Perhaps that's why this shop is a pioneer, creating a unique feature and offering a fresh experience for young people.

Right from the entrance, this unique cafe attracts visitors with its "teddy bear tower," made up of hundreds of adorable teddy bears. The tables and chairs are chosen in a minimalist style, creating a cozy atmosphere that gives visitors a feeling of closeness and familiarity. The cafe has an area of over 250 square meters.

The cafe spans two floors, including a rear garden area that creates a feeling of closeness to nature. With an open, airy, and friendly architectural style, the cafe prioritizes the use of wood, large glass panels, and plenty of greenery both indoors and outdoors… All of this creates a light, pleasant, and relaxing atmosphere upon entering.

The spacious room is decorated with various types of ceramics.

One striking feature is the ceramics, appropriately placed throughout the cafe, from the entrance and on wooden shelves to decorative lamps in various styles and sizes. The ceramic display areas are scattered throughout the cafe, but are concentrated on the staircases of the first and second floors, showcasing a wide variety of types and sizes.

All the ceramic products here are 100% "Made in Vietnam". These are traditional, handcrafted products, sourced by the owner from Dong Nai , Binh Duong, and other provinces, where they are typically exported to demanding markets such as Japan, the US, and Europe.

Another attraction is the story behind the ceramic products displayed at the cafe. According to the cafe's manager, the ceramic products all feature unique glazes, renowned in many southern provinces. Incorporating ceramics into the cafe's design, along with the gentle interior, greenery, and airy windows, will help visitors feel relaxed and experience a sense of calm and slower pace of life.

Located on one of the central streets of Ha Long City, this place attracts a large number of visitors. Do Vu The Phong, a student from Ha Long Specialized High School, said: "There are many unique cafes around this area, but my friends and I really like stopping at the ceramics cafe. It has a beautiful space, perfect for taking relaxing photos, and you can also listen to stories about ceramics or choose a lovely, unique, and reasonably priced ceramic vase as a gift for friends or relatives. The drinks here are also very delicious and varied."

Young people enjoy taking photos with the pottery display area on the second floor of the cafe.

Not only does it create a unique atmosphere, but during holidays and festivals throughout the year, the shop always invests heavily in themed decorations (such as Mid-Autumn Festival, Christmas, New Year...), adding many new ceramic products and creating a new display space like a miniature ceramics "market," refreshing the shop and making it attractive to customers both inside and out.
