Invitation to attend trade and investment promotion delegation in the Netherlands and Belgium

Implementing the 2025 trade promotion plan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Trade Promotion Agency) coordinates with the Trade Office, Embassy of Vietnam in the Netherlands, the Trade Office, Embassy of Vietnam in Belgium, domestic and foreign trade promotion organizations to organize a Trade and Investment Promotion Delegation in the Netherlands and Belgium, specifically as follows:

1. Objective

Create conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to expand export markets, seek orders and have the opportunity to directly access wholesale and retail systems in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Connecting trade with Dutch and Belgian businesses during the business trip to promote and introduce quality Vietnamese products, establish business relationships, sign contracts, boost the export of Vietnamese goods to the Netherlands and Belgium, contributing to increasing bilateral trade turnover between Vietnam - Netherlands and Vietnam - Belgium.

Support Vietnamese enterprises to participate deeply in the global value chain, improve production capacity of quality and competitive export goods, and affirm their position in the international arena.

2. Time (expected): From June 2 - June 10, 2025 (including departure and return time).

3. Location (expected): Amsterdam, The Hague (Netherlands), Brussels (Belgium).

4. Industry: Multi-industry, priority given to agricultural and aquatic products, food, textiles, footwear, wood and wood products, rubber products, plastics, pharmaceutical products, consumer goods, machinery and equipment...

5. Scale: 20 - 25 agencies, organizations, enterprises.

6. Cost

a) State support: Each enterprise, Trade Promotion Center, and Industry Association selected to participate in the program will be supported by the State with 01 or 01 part of the airfare for the route Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City - Netherlands/Belgium - Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City for 01 representative of the unit and the cost of organizing a trade seminar during the trip according to the provisions of Circular No. 11/2019/TT-BCT dated July 30, 2019 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade guiding the implementation of trade promotion activities to develop foreign trade under the National Trade Promotion Program.

Other costs are the responsibility of the business.

In addition, businesses selected to participate in the Delegation, after the end of the Delegation program, will continue to receive support from the Department of Trade Promotion to connect with potential Dutch and Belgian partners (if any) as needed.

b) For other cases (not enterprises in the supported group mentioned in section a): Participating units shall bear all costs of participating in the Delegation.
