Mobile Online Services Joint Stock Company (M_Service) - the operator of the MoMo fintech platform - is one of the units that recently received a commendation from the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05) - Ministry of Public Security , for outstanding achievements in coordinating efforts to protect national security and ensure social order and safety.

In the context of increasing high-tech crime with sophisticated methods, digital financial platforms and payment intermediaries are also becoming targets for illegal activities such as fraud. Therefore, strengthening cooperation between digital financial service providers and authorities plays a crucial role in ensuring system security and protecting users in the digital space.

Recognizing the importance of this issue, M_Service has proactively collaborated with the Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department in three main areas: exchanging and providing information to support investigations and verification; coordinating efforts to prevent and stop the misuse of e-wallets for illegal activities; and deploying technological solutions and data connectivity to support crime prevention in the digital environment.

Lieutenant Colonel Trieu Manh Tung, Deputy Director of the Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department, stated: "In the past period, MoMo has closely and effectively coordinated with functional agencies in preventing and stopping crimes and violations of the law exploiting e-wallet services, contributing to ensuring security and social order. In particular, the company has proactively built a technical system to review and block tens of thousands of e-wallet accounts showing signs of violating the law."

According to official data, between 2022 and 2025, the company received and processed thousands of requests from central and local police agencies nationwide. Simultaneously, MoMo was the first payment intermediary to collaborate with Department A05 to connect to the Ministry of Public Security's system for receiving and responding to information requests electronically, and to a database warning about payment accounts and e-wallets involved in illegal activities. Building on this foundation, the company continues to invest heavily in autonomous technology, applying AI and Big Data in real-time fraud detection, enhancing risk control, and protecting users in the digital financial space. The systems are built and operated according to strict international security standards, ensuring the safety of over 30 million users and 500,000 small businesses and enterprises within the MoMo ecosystem.
