A district of Hai Duong has 19 more products meeting OCOP standards.

The OCOP product evaluation and classification council of Cam Giang district ( Hai Duong province) has just organized an evaluation and classification of OCOP products. As a result, 19 products have met OCOP standards, bringing the total number of products meeting OCOP standards of Cam Giang district to 54 products. Talking to Dan Viet, Mr. Nguyen Van Thien, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Cam Giang district (Hai Duong province) said that recently, the OCOP product evaluation and classification council of Cam Giang district has just organized an evaluation and classification of OCOP products in 2024 with 19 local products.

Of which, there are 5 products in the group of household and decorative handicraft products, 2 products in the group of processed foods, 3 products in the group of spices, 2 products in the group of fresh products, 5 products in the group of alcoholic beverages. These products belong to 5 entities, including 2 enterprises with 12 products; 3 business households with 7 products in the localities of Luong Dien, Ngoc Lien, Cam Vu, Cam Hoang, Cam Van.

Product owners participating in the evaluation and classification of OCOP products in 2024 presented and introduced their products at the council of Cam Giang district.

Of the total 19 products, through the evaluation and classification of OCOP products in 2024, all 19 products were assessed and recognized as meeting OCOP standards, including 3-star OCOP products, 12 products were proposed by the Council to Hai Duong province to assess 4-star OCOP standards. Specifically, 7 products achieving 3-star OCOP include: Thanh Dong grapes of Mr. Bui Manh Cuong's household in Ngoc Lien commune; Doan May chicken eggs of Mrs. Pham Thi May's household in Cam Hoang commune; lotus and fish vase, four-season lotus vase, apricot flower vase, parents' calligraphy painting, four-season painting of Mr. Nguyen Van Vuong's family in Luong Dien commune.

Phu Loc Wine Company's Multi-Wine products were proposed by the district to Hai Duong province to be recognized as 4-star OCOP.

12 products proposed by Cam Giang district to Hai Duong province to be recognized as 4-star OCOP products include: Phu Loc white sticky rice wine, hawthorn wine, Dutch apple wine, apricot wine, cordyceps wine, black sticky rice wine, morinda wine of Phu Loc Wine Company Limited in Cam Vu commune; dried carrot products, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder of Tan Huong Agricultural and Food Processing Joint Stock Company in Cam Van commune.

Doan May chicken egg products are OCOP certified products, packed in trays and fully labeled.

With 19 more products meeting OCOP standards in 2024, the total number of OCOP products of Cam Giang district has increased to 54 products. According to the evaluation council, the products meeting OCOP standards are all products produced by local people, typical products of the district, with outstanding quality and a position in the market. 100% of the products are creatively packaged, beautifully packaged; fully labeled, in accordance with regulations, expressing the message, product story, with electronic traceability, building and announcing production processes to ensure food safety, environmental hygiene...

Thanh Dong Grapes, a product of the 2023 Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer Bui Manh Cuong, was recognized as an OCOP product in 2024.
