According to Sky Sports , Newcastle have entered negotiations with Sesko and Leipzig, hoping to reach an agreement for a deal worth around £70m. However, MU have entered the fray and are currently negotiating directly with the Slovenian striker's representatives.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano added: "Don't be too quick to write off MU. In the past hours, MU has maintained contact with Sesko's representative to initiate serious discussions about the fee, contract, development roadmap and role in the club's long-term project."
MU spent 133.5 million pounds to bring in two names in attack, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, but coach Ruben Amorim still wants to add a classy "number 9" to increase depth. The final decision now lies in the hands of Sesko and his team.
Meanwhile, Newcastle have been forced to act quickly after key striker Alexander Isak expressed his desire to leave the club this summer. Many sources confirmed that he is looking for a way to Liverpool, with a fee that could break the British transfer record.
Not stopping there, Isak also received a huge offer from Saudi Arabia with an income of 32 million pounds/year, but the Swedish star only wants to play for Liverpool.
With MU planning to steal Newcastle's number one target, the Premier League summer 2025 transfer market promises to be more dramatic until the final days.
