The producer of the film "Red Rain" said that the film has been in theaters for a whole month and has had a very special journey - being welcomed, shared and spread by audiences nationwide. The film has completely fulfilled its mission and, more importantly, left an impression in the hearts of movie lovers. After the last screenings in theaters until September 28, "Red Rain" will continue to be broadcast on many digital platforms to reach a wider audience.

People's Army Cinema and the film production crew would like to express their deep gratitude to the audience for their love for the film. This is not only the success of a film, but also a significant milestone in the crew's career path, a motivation to continue creating, bringing sincere, valuable and emotional cinematic works.

Sharing about the film's journey, director, Meritorious Artist Dang Thai Huyen said she could only say one word "happy" to describe her feelings when looking back on the one-month journey of "Red Rain" in theaters as a director.

Director Dang Thai Huyen shared that for a director, when a work is released to the public, is welcomed and loved by the audience, that is a wonderful thing. “According to the numbers announced by the distributor, there have been more than 8 million viewers who have come to see the film. More than 8 million viewers have accompanied the film with the fate in the film. And among them, there have been people who have come back to watch it many times with their family and relatives. There have been people who have written many articles about the film, both praise and criticism, both positive and negative, I think that is a wonderful thing because for any film that is released in theaters but does not receive any attention from the audience, it is sad” - the director shared.

Meritorious Artist Dang Thai Huyen also said that the film “Red Rain” also set a record for having screenings at very early hours: 6:30 a.m. This was the first time the cinema had screenings at such a time slot, along with many other inconvenient times but still had a large audience. “Those were wonderful moments for those in the profession that we will never forget. And the Army Cinema and the crew always tell each other that it is the audience who have fulfilled the beautiful dreams and extended the journey of the film,” director Dang Thai Huyen expressed.

“Red Rain” is a historical film about revolutionary war, based on the 81-day and night battle in Quang Tri Citadel . The film has the participation of actors Do Nhat Hoang, Le Ha Anh, Steven Nguyen, Lam Thanh Nha, Nguyen Dinh Khang, Le Hoang Long, Tran Gia Huy, Nguyen Phuong Nam…

As of 12 noon on September 25, “Red Rain” was very close to the 700 billion VND mark with a revenue of 699,421 billion VND, according to data from Box Office Vietnam.
