According to the forecast of the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, on September 15 in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern provinces, there will be rain in some places in the morning, mainly light rain, from noon and afternoon, evening the rain will continue to expand and there will be showers in many places and scattered thunderstorms, some places will have moderate rain, heavy rain.

The highest temperature in the area fluctuates between 30 and 33 degrees Celsius, with some places above 33 degrees Celsius.

It is forecasted that in the next two to three days, the low pressure trough with its axis passing through the Southern region will slowly lift its axis to the North, connecting with a low vortex from the East of the Philippines moving into the East Sea.

At the same time, the subtropical high pressure system with its axis over the North tends to become stronger and move westward. The southwest monsoon gradually increases in intensity.

With the above weather conditions, in the next two to three days, Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern provinces will see increased rain, and rain may occur at any time of the day. Specifically, there will be showers in many places and scattered thunderstorms, scattered moderate rain, and some places will have heavy to very heavy rain, concentrated in the two days of September 17 to September 18. Many places with heavy rain are likely to cause flooding in low-lying urban areas.
