Driving license exam fees for all categories, effective from August 1, 2023.

Based on item 3 of the Appendix issued with Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC, the fees for driver's license exams of all categories from August 1, 2023 are as follows:

(1) For driving license test for vehicle categories A1, A2, A3, A4:

- Theoretical exam fee: 60,000 VND/attempt.

- Practical examination fee: 70,000 VND/ครั้ง.

(2) For driving license test for cars (vehicle categories B1, B2, C, D, E, F):

- Theoretical exam fee: 100,000 VND/attempt.

- Practical driving test in the driving course: 350,000 VND/ครั้ง.

- Practical driving test on the road: 80,000 VND/ครั้ง.

- Driving test using traffic simulation software: 100,000 VND/test.

Note:

The above-mentioned driver's license examination fee rates are applied uniformly nationwide (regardless of whether the agency is under central or local government management).

+ Candidates taking the driving test for a road motor vehicle license must pay the test fee for each part of the test (calculated per test attempt: first attempt, re-examination).

Registration and license plate fees for specialized motorcycles (construction vehicles) effective from August 1, 2023.

Based on item 1 of the Appendix issued with Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC, the registration and license plate fees for specialized motorcycles (construction vehicles) from August 1, 2023 are as follows:

- Initial issuance, temporary issuance, re-issuance, and replacement of vehicle registration certificate and license plate: 200,000 VND/per vehicle/per time.

- Reissuing or replacing a vehicle registration certificate without a license plate: 50,000 VND/per vehicle/per time.

- Issuance of registration certificate with temporary license plate: 70,000 VND/per vehicle/per time.

- Re-stamping chassis and engine numbers: 50,000 VND/per vehicle/per time.

Driver's license issuance fees effective from August 1, 2023.

Based on Section 2 of the Appendix issued with Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC, the fees for issuing licenses and certificates for operating various types of vehicles from August 1, 2023, are as follows:

- Issuance, renewal, and replacement of driver's licenses (national and international): 135,000 VND/per instance

Regulations on the declaration, collection, and payment of the aforementioned fees and charges.

The declaration, collection, and payment of the aforementioned fees and charges shall be carried out in accordance with the guidelines in Article 4 of Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC, specifically as follows:

- Fee payers shall pay fees and charges according to the rates stipulated in Article 3 of Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC to the fee and charge collecting organization in the manner prescribed in Circular 74/2022/TT-BTC.

- Periodically, no later than the 5th day of each week, the fee-collecting organization must deposit the fees collected during the previous week into the fee-receiving account opened at the State Treasury. The fee-collecting organization shall declare and remit the collected fees to the state budget and settle the fees in accordance with the regulations in Circular 74/2022/TT-BTC.

- Organizations collecting fees and charges shall remit the collected fees according to the prescribed percentage in Article 5 of Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC and 100% of the collected charges to the state budget (organizations collecting fees and charges under central government management shall remit fees and charges to the central budget; organizations collecting fees and charges under local government management shall remit fees and charges to the local budget) according to the chapter and sub-item of the State Budget Classification.
