The singer said she received the notification from YouTube around 2:30 PM on March 29th. The statistics were compiled 27 days and 19 hours after the MV's release. The song has created the best effect in the Vietnamese music scene so far this year, far surpassing some recent products such as "Dancing in the Dark" (Soobin, eight million views after two weeks), "Even If the World Ends" (Erik, 43 million views after two months). "Rebirth, " the hugely popular song from the end of last year, currently has two videos , reaching a total of 46 million views.

This is also a good achievement for the Vietnamese music industry in recent years. Last year, Son Tung M-TP's "Don't Break My Heart " reached 100 million views after four months. " Our Future Selves, " released in January 2024, currently has 79 million views.

Bắc Bling 's view count surpassed many other releases from international stars at the same time, such as Jisoo ( Earthquake , 57 million views) and Lisa ( Born Again , 74 million views). At one point, the song even topped the YouTube Charts' list of most impressive debut music videos globally.

The record for the fastest Vietnamese music video to reach 100 million views currently belongs to Sơn Tùng M-TP's MV " Hãy trao cho anh" (15 days). Following that is "Sóng gió" by Jack and K-ICM (25 days). "Em gì ơi" (Jack, K-ICM) and "Người lạ ơi" (Orange, Karik) took 31 and 38 days respectively to achieve this milestone.

From a song about a local area, Bac Bling has spread rapidly. On his personal TikTok account on March 26th, Singapore Prime Minister Laurence Wong posted a short video about the first day of his visit to Vietnam, set to a Bac Bling remix, which currently has 6.8 million views and nearly 700,000 likes.

Previously, Nikkei magazine (headquartered in Japan) commented that the music video was successful in contributing to spreading the cultural beauty and vitality of Bac Ninh province.

Many "spin-off" products also attract millions of views. Celebrities spend dozens of hours applying makeup to transform themselves into Kinh Bac girls, lip-syncing to the lyrics to film challenges. The music video also becomes a source of inspiration for dancers to choreograph dances in various styles. Some YouTubers and TikTokers create humorous videos about their localities, based on the song's music. Studios design photo packages in the Bac Bling style for adults and girls, priced at around 1.5-2 million VND. Many high schools in various localities organize activities for students to sing, dance, and film Bac Bling videos.

Thanks to the effect of the music video, Bac Ninh was packed with tourists on weekends. To meet the demand, the province added two more tours, bringing the total number of free itineraries to four. The number of visitors outside of the free programs also increased.

On March 24th, at a meeting and dialogue with outstanding Vietnamese youth on the occasion of the Youth Union's founding anniversary, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh mentioned the music video as a prime example of modernizing traditional national art, contributing to bringing Vietnamese identity to the world. The Prime Minister shook hands with Hoa Minzy and wished her music video would soon reach 100 million views.

Hòa Minzy previously stated that she declined to participate in the "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves" program in China and a reality show in Vietnam in order to focus on creating products that promote Vietnamese culture. Besides "Bắc Bling ," she has several other music videos with folk themes that have attracted attention, such as "Thị Màu" and "Kén cá chọn canh."

"Bac Bling," released on March 1st, was composed by Tuan Cry. The song features relatable lyrics and a message promoting tourism in the province. The video showcases iconic landmarks of Bac Ninh, including the Do Temple, Dau Pagoda, and Phu Lang pottery village, as well as beautiful cultural activities like betel chewing, Quan Ho folk singing, and year-round festivals. The song title stylizes the word "Ninh" as "Bling," aiming to portray Bac Ninh as shining brightly and reaching further in the future.

Hòa Minzy (real name Nguyễn Thị Hòa), 30 years old, was the winner of the Star Academy competition in 2014. She has hit songs such as "Rời bỏ" (Leaving ) and "Không thể cùng nhau suốt kiếp" (Cannot Be Together for a Lifetime ). In February 2022, she broke up with her businessman boyfriend after 5 years together and is currently a single mother. In early 2024, Hòa Minzy received her first award for Most Popular Female Singer at the Mai Vàng Awards. In the same year, she was honored as Female Singer of the Year at the Cống Hiến Awards.
