The school year of innovation and creativity
Attending the ceremony were Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra; leaders and former leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs and leaders and former leaders of the National Academy of Public Administration and the University of Home Affairs of different periods.
In his opening speech, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien - Director of the National Academy of Public Administration affirmed that the 2024-2025 school year is a year of innovation and creativity. It is the first year that the Academy implements the Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045, the final year of implementing the targets of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, the Resolution of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Resolution of the Party Committee of the Academy.
The Academy's development strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045, is not only an aspiration but also an expectation of the Government , the Ministry of Home Affairs, agencies, organizations and society, with the Academy as a prestigious national center for training and fostering.
“The philosophy of knowledge creation, innovation, and national responsibility with core values of intelligence, quality, and modernity is a reminder and an urge for lecturers, students, and pupils of the Academy,” the Director of the National Academy of Public Administration emphasized.
Accordingly, the academy can only become a prestigious training and fostering center, a center for innovation, creation and transfer of knowledge if each lecturer of the Academy always cultivates knowledge and knows how to renew himself. Each lecturer's lecture must be truly vivid and profound scientific knowledge in a world full of information and data.
Each lecturer is not only a knowledge transmitter but also a guide, connector, inspiration, nurturer, and caretaker for the innovative and creative ideas of students. In the system of training and education facilities nationwide, the Academy needs to focus on and be determined to affirm its identity and brand as a prestigious national center for training and education domestically and internationally.
Sending a message to the new students, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien affirmed: “Your youth has brightened and renewed the image of the Academy. You are at the most beautiful age to study, practice, to grow, integrate and develop with the country. The process of integration and globalization is opening up opportunities for change, for development but also creating challenges for each individual…”.
The Director of the National Academy of Public Administration also expressed his hope that students and trainees should always carry within themselves an important learning goal, which is to learn to be themselves, to be the best version they can reach. In the diversity of today's era, it is necessary to find for oneself the constant, which is the desire for knowledge, a good personality, always striving to study and practice to know, to understand, to work, to love, to share, to live responsibly, always carrying within oneself the desire for great and good things.
“I wish and hope that you will have the most brilliant years at the National Academy of Public Administration, so that later, every time you look back, you can be proud of those years, that you have lived a full and meaningful life in your beautiful youth. In that wonderful journey of growing up, please be steadfast because you will always receive the companionship and sharing of the Academy's dedicated teachers”, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien sent a message.
The Director of the National Academy of Public Administration also expressed his firm belief that, with its long tradition of training and research, a team of dedicated teachers and existing conditions, the National Academy of Public Administration will successfully complete its assigned mission and tasks.
"Stretch yourself, dare to aspire, dare to dream"
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra affirmed that the National Academy of Public Administration has a unique position in the education and training system.
This is a special-class public service unit with very important responsibilities assigned by the Party, the State and the Ministry of Home Affairs, which are: training human resources for the public and social sector system; training and fostering cadres, civil servants and public employees; in-depth scientific research on national governance and state administration.
The Minister of Home Affairs emphasized that, more than ever, the Academy needs to continue to fully realize its responsibility to contribute, continue to strongly and comprehensively innovate the thinking, methods, management, operation, and teaching of cadres and civil servants, and the learning, training, and striving of students. In which, focusing on 4 key contents:
The National Academy of Public Administration needs to have great aspirations and great faith in future development;
Deeply aware of its responsibility and mission towards the Party, State and society, the Academy needs to ensure the harmonious development of the ecosystem with three pillars: Training of cadres, civil servants and public employees; training of high-quality human resources and scientific research.
Take care to build and develop a team of Academy staff and workers equal to the task.
At the same time, preserve and promote good cultural values at the Academy.
The Minister of Home Affairs also requested the Academy to pay attention and care to the student classes - the generation of the future, creating favorable conditions for students to study, practice, mature, and affirm the Academy's student brand in terms of intelligence, courage, and capacity.
“The country is entering a new era of development, an era of national growth. The aspiration for strength and prosperity is calling the whole country to embark on a journey of development. The National Academy of Public Administration must also truly grow, dare to aspire, dare to dream and be determined to realize those aspirations and dreams. The fine tradition that has been built up over many generations, the creativity and aspirations of today's generation will be the basis for us to believe that the National Academy of Public Administration will have a step forward with many new achievements to be proud of in the present and the future,” Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra emphasized.
