Poor male student with 28.5 points is at risk of failing his university dream

(Dan Tri) - His mother left him when he was 4 years old, and Huan had to change schools 6 times to follow his father's efforts. However, Huan was still an excellent student with a total score of 28.5 for the A block.

Dang Van Gia Huan, a student at Mo Duc High School No. 2, Quang Ngai Province, scored 28.5 in the university entrance exam for group A. With this score, the door to university has opened wide for Huan.

However, when it comes to continuing his studies, Huan's voice drops: "My family is so poor, my father still has to take care of two younger siblings. I don't know where to get money to go to school."

Huan's small house in Hamlet 4, Long Phung Commune, Quang Ngai Province is full of certificates of merit from many different schools. Huan explained that his mother left him when he was 4 years old. Since then, Huan has had to follow his father to many places. Huan calculated that he had changed schools 6 times.

Sitting next to his son, Mr. Dang Van Chinh (50 years old) sadly told about his family's difficult life. He said that his life was miserable, so his children suffered too.

Mr. Chinh had two wives, but they both left him, leaving him with three small children. Huan was the son of his first wife. After his wife left, Mr. Chinh had to work hard to take care of his children. In addition to farming, he also went around the neighborhood to fix electrical appliances to earn extra money to take care of his children.

“I can endure any hardship, but I feel sorry for my children, especially Huan. He is a good student and dreamed of becoming a doctor, but then he found the tuition fees for medicine too high so he switched to another field. But now I don’t know where to get the money to send him to school,” Mr. Chinh lamented.

Huan shared that only the path of learning can help him change his life. To do that, he studied hard and achieved many remarkable achievements.

During 12 years of high school, he was an excellent student for 10 years. In high school, Huan won a consolation prize in biology and a third prize in physics in the provincial competition for excellent students.

In the recent high school graduation exam, Huan excellently achieved 36.75 points, of which the university entrance exam score in group A was 28.5 points.

Huan applied for university entrance exam to major in Electronic Engineering at the University of Technology ( Ho Chi Minh City National University). Huan wants to pursue the field of microchip design.

During the conversation, Huan's eyes kept looking far away into the garden. Huan was facing a very important and really difficult decision. Huan wanted to go to school to change his life, but the most difficult problem now was where to get the money to pay for his time at university.
