Capacity building for officials and people working in poverty reduction and child protection

QTO - On November 27-28, the Department of Health coordinated with the Department of Mothers and Children to organize a training course to improve the capacity of officials and people working in poverty reduction and child protection at the provincial level. Attending were representatives of leaders and officials of relevant departments, branches and units.

At the training course, delegates were informed by lecturers about the main contents, such as: Law and policies on children and child protection; multidimensional poverty reduction for children, policies for children in poor households; support and intervention processes for children at risk or being exploited and abused. In addition, trainees also had the opportunity to exchange and discuss related contents.

This activity contributes to improving the knowledge and skills of the staff working in poverty reduction and child protection. At the same time, the training course is also an opportunity to exchange and share experiences between units, departments and branches in the process of implementing tasks, aiming at sustainable poverty reduction and ensuring children's rights in the whole province.

Also on November 27-28, 2025, the Department of Health coordinated with the Department of Mothers and Children to organize a training course to improve the capacity of officials and people working in poverty reduction and child protection at the commune level. The training course had the participation of 82 trainees who are officials and collaborators working in poverty reduction and child protection from 41 communes and wards in the North of Quang Tri province.
