On November 26, the AVP website reported that Russia is increasingly intensifying military activities in the Kupyansk region in an attempt to capture the city for the second time. This information was reported by the press service of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the press service, Russian military strike groups are carrying out attacks in the Sinkovka and Ivanovka areas, trying to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions. It is reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have successfully repelled four attacks. The Russian side is actively using artillery, aircraft and suicide drones aimed at destroying Ukrainian armored vehicles.
The situation in the Kupyansky direction remains difficult, however, if Avdievka is successful, military actions in this direction will become more intense.
Russia is stepping up its offensive in the Kupyansky direction.
Previously, AVP also reported that Russian Su-30SM and Su-24MR aircraft destroyed Ukrainian drones off the coast of Crimea.
On November 25, forces of the Russian Black Sea Fleet successfully repelled an attempt to attack Ukrainian drones off the coast of Crimea. Russian naval aviation played a key role in the mission.
Video posted by the media shows that Su-30SM and Su-24MR aircraft of the Russian naval air force detected and destroyed Ukrainian drones in the Black Sea.
These aircraft were patrolling the airspace over the sea off the coast of Crimea when they detected unmanned ships heading towards the peninsula. The decision was made to destroy them and the mission was successfully completed.
According to experts, despite the fact that drone attacks on Crimea are militarily ineffective, Ukraine continues to carry them out. The purpose of such actions is to create information resonance and demonstrate the ability to strike at Crimean territory. However, these attempts often end in failure, leading to the loss of expensive equipment and endangering the lives of soldiers.
