The Nibulon port terminal in the Kherson region has long attracted attention due to its strategic location. However, in recent months it has become particularly important due to reports that the terminal is being used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a temporary warehouse for storing military equipment and housing personnel.

According to AVP, four FAB-500M62 bombs were used by the Russian Air Force in the attack on the Nibulon port terminal.
Earlier, Russian military sources said that the Russian army had inflicted heavy human and material losses on Kiev forces in the Donetsk, Krasnolimansky and Kupyansk directions.
On the Donetsk front, the Russian Yug Group of Forces repelled two attacks by the Ukrainian 53rd and 110th Mechanized Brigades near Vodyanoye and Krasnohorivka. The group’s air force also destroyed four temporary deployment points of the third wave of the offensive, the 24th, 93rd and 110th Mechanized Brigades near Dzerzhinsk, Stupochki and Avdeevka.
In addition, 14 other Ukrainian concentrations of manpower and equipment were also targeted by air and artillery fire. Several units of the Ukrainian 79th Airborne Assault Brigade were attacked near Georgievka.
The Russian military attack destroyed three tanks, one infantry fighting vehicle, eight vehicles, an ammunition depot, two strongholds, a communications center and a drone control center.
Additionally, a US-made M777 towed gun and seven 120 mm towed mortars were destroyed near Andreevka, Aleksandro-Shultino, Kleshcheevka and Verkhnekamensky by counter-battery fire.
The Yug Group of Forces' defense and electronic warfare systems also shot down 21 drones in the skies over Krasnaya Gora, Kodema, Konstantinovka and Maryinka.
Meanwhile, in the Krasnolimansky direction, the Tsentr Group of Forces (Russia) repelled five attacks by the 67th Mechanized Brigade and the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” of Ukraine in the Serebryansky Forest. Fighter-bombers of the Group also carried out airstrikes on two command and observation posts in the same area.
The attack cost Kiev forces 40 soldiers, an infantry fighting vehicle and a pickup truck in fighting in this direction. A US-made HIMARS precision-guided missile was also intercepted.
The Russian army stepped up attacks on many fronts, causing heavy losses to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In the direction of Kupyansk, the Russian Zapad Group of Forces attacked a deployment point of the 43rd Mechanized Brigade (Ukraine) near Cherneshchina.
In addition, Ka-52, Mi-28 attack helicopters and Su-25 ground attack aircraft of the Group also carried out 12 air strikes against the concentrated forces of the 14th, 32nd, 95th Air Assault Brigades and Territorial Defense units near Ivanovka, Sinkovka, Berestovoye and Olivovsky Yar.
Attempts to rotate the 14th Mechanized Brigade to forward positions near Sinkovka were also stopped by Russian artillery fire. In addition, Russian counterattack fire destroyed a 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled gun and an ammunition depot near Peschanoye and Novoyegorovka.
Kiev forces lost about 2 infantry platoons, 2 pickup trucks, a drone and a Starlink satellite communication station in this direction.
In the direction of Kharkov, Russian artillery and air power blocked attempts by Kiev forces to restore supplies to the formations across the Oskol River.
Russian sources also released footage showing Russian airstrikes targeting several Ukrainian ammunition depots and deployment points in different directions in recent days.
