According to Russian news agencies, the Russian President and the Chinese President adopted a joint statement on "strengthening comprehensive strategic coordination, deepening good neighborly relations and friendly cooperation" between Russia and China, and a joint communiqué on the formation of a multipolar world , a new type of international relations.

The Chinese President affirmed that the two sides will develop a comprehensive strategic partnership based on equality, mutual respect, honesty, and mutual benefit, with continuous promotion of cooperation in economics , investment, energy, science and technology, culture, and localities, while strengthening people-to-people ties. He stated that Sino-Russian relations have entered a new phase with more room for action and faster development.

President Xi Jinping stated that both sides should focus on each country's development goals, fully leverage the comprehensive and complete nature of the China-Russia cooperation mechanism, strengthen the overall design for comprehensive cooperation, promote the upgrading of substantive cooperation in areas such as economics, trade, investment, energy, resources, transportation, and scientific and technological innovation; actively arrange cooperation in pioneering fields, build new growth drivers with new quality productive forces; strengthen cultural exchanges and cooperation in education , culture, film, tourism, and sports, and consolidate public opinion on the friendship between the two countries.

Regarding multilateral cooperation, China and Russia need to strengthen coordination and engagement at multilateral platforms such as the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), BRICS, and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum.

For his part, President Putin stated that, thanks to the joint efforts of both sides, Russia-China relations have reached unprecedented levels. High-level exchanges are close, and political trust has been firmly consolidated. Bilateral trade is growing steadily, energy supply and demand are mutually beneficial, and cooperation in the fields of transportation, logistics, science and technology is deepening. People-to-people exchanges continue to develop positively.

The Russian leader emphasized Moscow's readiness to work with Beijing to strengthen strategic coordination and substantive cooperation, elevating bilateral relations to a new level; affirming that Russia-China cooperation is an important stabilizing factor in the context of a volatile international situation.

President Putin affirmed Moscow's readiness to continue ensuring an uninterrupted supply of oil and gas to the Chinese market. According to him, Russia is one of the largest exporters of oil, natural gas (including liquefied natural gas), and coal to China. The two countries are actively cooperating in the energy sector and are ready to continue ensuring a continuous and stable supply of all these fuels to the rapidly developing Chinese market.

Regarding bilateral cooperation in the field of transport, Russia and China will strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in organizing the China-Europe railway line, supporting the development of rail, road, and sea transit transport from China to Europe via Russia, and promoting practical cooperation to increase cargo volume along the Northern Sea Route.

In addition, Russia and China "expressed their willingness to increase the volume of goods imported and exported by rail between the two countries."

President Putin emphasized that Russia and China will continue to closely coordinate their positions in multilateral forums such as the G20, the World Trade Organization (WTO), the World Bank (WB), and the New Development Bank (NDB). Both sides also intend to promote the harmonization of integrated processes within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), with the goal of forming a stronger Eurasian partnership.

Both countries also need to develop new growth drivers in the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and technological innovation, promote mutually beneficial cooperation on a large scale, and at the same time leverage favorable momentum in bilateral relations and adjust their national development programs (China's 15th Five-Year Plan and Russia's National Development Goals to 2030).

Russian Presidential Assistant Yury Ushakov stated that this is a comprehensive policy document, outlining the main directions for the development of the entire multifaceted bilateral relationship between Russia and China, a clear shared vision on pressing issues on the international agenda, and key forms of interaction on global issues. Ushakov added that Russia and China have also agreed on joint energy projects. These are promising energy projects, as well as other interesting ones.

In addition to a joint statement on strengthening bilateral relations, the two sides also issued a joint statement on promoting a multipolar world and a new type of international relations.

The document emphasizes that the international relations system in the 21st century is undergoing a profound transformation, moving towards a long-term multipolar state and the emergence of a new type of international relations.
