American car tuning company - Hennessey is famous for its crazy muscle machines, it is no stranger to showing off its skills on pickup trucks. And the most recent is the super pickup truck Ram 1500 RHO super pickup truck with Hennessey's capacity of up to 700 horsepower. This isn't your typical 6x6, Hennessey just upgraded the Ram 1500 RHO's twin-turbocharged Hurricane inline-six engine to a new level, while also branding it with Mammoth.
The new off-road rear bumper incorporates lighting, and there is still room for a full-size spare wheel under the bed. The vehicle is equipped with front and rear suspension upgrades, along with power-folding metal side steps. 6-piston performance brakes are optional, with high-temperature brake pads and high-performance brake discs. The Hennessey Mammoth 700 RAM RHO is based on the Ram 1500 RHO with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 540 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque in “high-output” configuration. However, Hennessey has pushed the power to 700 horsepower with upgrades like superchargers, an improved stainless steel exhaust system, and an in-house developed engine remap for the turbocharged six-cylinder.
The interior is black and orange, with leather appearing on the seats, dashboard and steering wheel, and the floor mats have the brand logo. In typical Hennessey style, the Mammoth is finished with many stickers and badges for the car's name and the workshop. Hennessey says research and development begins at its Sealy, Texas headquarters, with development work on an on-site dyno, before conducting real-world performance testing at Pennzoil Proving Grounds. The car is also equipped with a set of 18-inch wheels with original 35-inch tires of RHO, replaced by a new 20-inch wheel design, with 37-inch off-road tires, raising the car's height by about 76.2 mm (3 inches).
The Mammoth’s new front bumper design features a host of lighting fixtures, including a 32-inch (812.8 mm) bumper-mounted light bar, two additional 5-inch (127 mm) round lights, and two 3-inch (76.2 mm) bumper corner lights. Hennessey says the original parking sensor technology is still active. Hennessey is backing the Mammoth with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. Before the Ram 1500 got the HEMI V8 and the TRX got the Hellcat, Hennessey launched the Mammoth with the Hurricane, which clearly had impressive power.
