In practical preparation for the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day on February 27th (1955-2025), and in anticipation of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, the health sector has organized many vibrant cultural, artistic, and sports exchange activities throughout the sector. Through these activities, the sector has promoted the dissemination of major political events of the sector and the country, while also contributing to the development of grassroots cultural and artistic movements, enhancing the spiritual life of workers.
The 2025 Quang Ninh Health Sector Amateur Arts Festival, held over two days from February 14-15 at the Vietnam-Japan Labor Culture Palace, concluded, leaving a positive impression on art lovers and a large number of officials, employees, and workers in the health sector. Nearly 1,500 amateur performers from 35 health agencies and units across the sector presented 105 outstanding performances in various art forms, meticulously staged with rich and engaging content.
The Quang Ninh Health Sector's Amateur Arts Festival is a major cultural activity for the entire sector, creating a platform for exchange, bonding, and solidarity, motivating doctors, nurses, and medical staff throughout the sector to uphold glorious traditions, enthusiastically compete in labor, study, and work, fulfill the mission of caring for and protecting the health of the people, and contribute to building a prosperous and beautiful Quang Ninh province, where all citizens have their health protected and live in a just, democratic, and civilized society.
Nurse Pham Thi Phuong, Department of General Internal Medicine, Quang Ninh Geriatric and Rehabilitation Hospital The winner of the Best Actor/Actress award at the festival shared : "Right from the moment the Trade Union of the industry planned the festival, the Hospital's leadership assigned the task to the staff to proactively arrange their time and work schedules to participate in rehearsals for the performances. Everyone was very enthusiastic and practiced diligently since before the Lunar New Year."
The Quang Ninh Geriatric and Rehabilitation Hospital presented four meticulously prepared performances in the genres of dance, singing, and drama at the festival, and excellently won first prize overall. In particular, the play "Eternal Light" and the song "The Song of the Geriatric and Rehabilitation Hospital," both composed by Dr. Trinh Thi Van Anh, Deputy Director and President of the Hospital's Trade Union, brought special emotions and showcased the hospital's unique mark at the festival.
At the festival, viewers could easily feel a vibrant and joyful artistic atmosphere. Throughout, the themes celebrated the glorious Party, the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland, the country, and the traditions of the medical profession. The performances evoked feelings of pride in the audience, spreading and fostering love for the historical and cultural traditions, the beauty of the homeland, the people of the mining region, and portraying the shining spirit of hard work and medical ethics of generations of doctors in Quang Ninh.
Along with the highlight being the mass art performance, trade unions at all levels throughout the sector have coordinated with professional departments to develop plans to organize vibrant cultural, artistic, and sports activities at the grassroots level or in clusters of medical units, and participated in activities organized by the sector, such as: the Quang Ninh Health Sector Badminton and Pickleball Tournament; the Conference to commend outstanding individuals among civil servants and employees in the health sector; activities to visit historical sites and offer incense at the Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac Temple (Ha Tinh)...
In particular, in response to the emulation movement "Quang Ninh Health Sector - 70 Years of Following President Ho Chi Minh's Teachings" towards the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's letter to the health sector on February 27 (1955-2025), launched by the Department of Health, the Health Sector Trade Union not only actively organized cultural and artistic activities to celebrate, but also promoted diverse, widespread, and comprehensive emulation forms throughout the health sector to affirm the role of health workers in following President Ho Chi Minh's teaching "A good doctor is like a loving mother". Along with that, it effectively implemented emulation movements launched by the Vietnam Health Trade Union, such as "Scientific research and technology transfer", "Changing the style and attitude of health workers towards patient satisfaction"...
Simultaneously, coordinate the organization of meetings, seminars, rallies, commendations, awards, and the dissemination of advanced models and outstanding collectives and individuals within the unit; focusing on rewarding collectives and individuals directly involved in labor; and individuals with innovative ideas and solutions on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day. Through this, create a vibrant atmosphere of emulation throughout the industry, build solidarity and close relationships among colleagues, create a friendly working environment, and help each medical staff member dedicate themselves to serving patients and the people.
